When I met Skip and Linda Murray, I had never obtained any professional sales training to assist with my job. At that time, I felt that I was a sales professional, just because I had the right personality. Little did I know, there's a lot more to being a professional than having an outgoing personality. I attended "Boot Camp" several years ago with a number of my peers. I went in with an open mind, thinking "even if I learn one new thing, then it was worth giving up a Saturday away from my family". I now know how to identify individual personalities, thus being able to communicate more effectively.

Linda and Skip,
I was introduced to Skip more than 15 years ago. I had just taken a position as a 100% commission sales rep for a publishing company, selling advertising. After about 6 months on the job, I had about 50 "prospect" folders on my desk who were telling me they wanted to "think it over". I was having more than a little trouble "closing" sales. I knew something had to change so I took a risk and jumped head-first into Skip's classes, and it changed my selling life. I was able to close some of the deals and learned to walk away from others with no regrets. What a relief.
I was very disciplined about attending classes - and have used the selling system he teaches ever since. I still go back for "refreshers" and to be motivated. My world has changed from a "print" world, to an "Internet" world; the principals work, no matter what you sell.
